It's tough running

My little baby girl just couldn't handle the run!
She went running with her daddy the other day and fell out. She now has her own FP3 player from fisher price that she loves. Once we unloaded all the gay songs that came preloaded and put girlfriends jams on there, she was rockin' out to Wheels on the bus sang by Bert and Ernie!

Summer Daze at the Gilberts

We have been spending our summer days playing in the pool. The kids have totally enjoyed walking out their back door and into a big hole of cold water. My house is somewhat cleaner, since they stay outside most of the day. I don't mind it either, it gives me a chance to work on my tan.

Happy Father's Day, Birthday, and Birthday!

We celebrated Father's Day, my birthday, and Ethan's birthday, on Tuesday June 17th with my parents. John flew on Sunday and of course we had to wait for him before cutting the cake! I made another fondant cake with a tie on front to represent the Daddy's. It turned out really cute. I love the color combo. We had a great steak dinner with all the trimmings and opened presents.

Bye Bye Boortz's

On May 28th, my best friend Heidi gave me the worst birthday present ever.......SHE MOVED!!!
No, I am just kidding. She did move though, and it was the day after my birthday, but I still Love her! We had 5 great years together and built an awesome friendship that will last forever. I am missing my motivator to help me stay on track working out though. The only good thing about her moving is she moved 10 minutes away from my brother in Oklahoma, so it will be very convenient to see her. We are going to see her next month actually!!! The day they left we all stood out in our driveway as they drove by and waved and cried til they were out of site. I took these pictures for her, because obviously she couldn't, she was driving!!!!
Daniel and his dad were in this U-Haul
Heidi, the boys, the dog, and the cat were in this car!

Kindergarten Graduation

Well yeah, these are a little late, being that Hayden graduated from Kindergarten on May 23rd. But, oh well, here we go anyway. They had a small ceremony in the gym where all 5 kindergarten classes came in together and sang songs. Then we went back to the classroom and he was presented with his certificate. They had drinks and cookies for refreshments and all three kids were in heaven!
Mrs. Bryan (parapro), Hayden, and Mrs. Sharp (Hayden's teacher)
Ethan will be in Mrs. Sharp's class next year, and we are very excited.

Ahlora, Anna, Mason, and Hayden stayed at the same table together all year. They were the top 4 in their class and they were awesome!

Happy 5th Birthday Ethan!

The Birthday boy turned 5!!!!
It is hard to believe our little monster has been with us for 5 years, where does the time go? As always we had a jam up party for him to celebrate the day he made our lives that much sweeter. We couldn't imagine life without him and thank the Lord everyday for entrusting us with such a vibrant, lovable, and crazy little boy. We had about 12 kids plus siblings and parents. We grilled hot dogs, swam, and had a BLAST!!!!!!

As Abigail would say, "TEE-DAW"

The Birthday Cake
The beach ball is made from the sports ball cake pan and covered in fondant. This was so fun to make. The boys had a lot of fun helping. The bottom layer is a regular 13x9 cake covered with blue homemade butter cream icing and crushed graham crackers for the sand. It was very scrumptious!

He got them all on one try!

Pinata time!

Ethan gave it two big whacks and did some damage!
When it rolled around to Hayden it only took one whack and the candy came running out!
The vultures attack!
Oh yeah, these are all my presents

Gotta love Transformers, thanks Madox
This card sang the Celebrate song and had 3 five dollar bills taped inside, thanks Jion!

One of his gifts!

It was a GREAT Day!!!!
