Spring Break Day 3, 4, and 5

After seeing the "big boys" on skim boards day 2, we had to immediately upgrade!!
So Hayden has his very first skim board. He did so good and wore him self out each day.

Let the training begin

Fall number, I don't know, 200! :)

Lauren and Abigail buliding a sand castle

John thought he could do it, notice the board to the left of Ethan!
Yeah, not so easy Dad!!!!

Let the kites fly

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, of course!

She did so good!!!

It's all about the big boys!
These kids were so great! The took Hayden under their wing and gave him pointers on what to do. He played with them for hours each day!!

He got it!!!!

Next year, will be a whole different year of skill!!

Spring Break Day 2

Day 2 was a little windy and cool, but it didn't stop us from setting up shop and enjoying the sand!!

Hayden was all about boogy boarding. The water was chilly but he didn't care

Catchin' a wave.
It was so nice that he could do it all by himself this year. No more wading in the water trying to hold on to him and the board and sending him on a wave that may or may not be a good one. He did so good and we were so proud of him!

Ethan not as adventurous, but still had a blast!

He's Lovin' It!!!

Spring Break Day 1

Of Course, we returned to the beach for Spring Break!!!
Upon our arrival, after dumping everything in the condo John happily took the kids and ran to the beach so I could "get things in order." That's okay though, it is a lot easier with them no where around. These were all taken from our balcony. I LOVE the beach!!!

Bayou Bisque, New Braunfels TX

In March we visited John while he was in Texas. During our trip I was able to meet up with my good friend Noel and her precious daughter Salem and handsome chunkers Tavin!
We took the kids to the pottery place and let them go to town. It was so relaxed, the kids had a ball and there were practically no rules. The each were able to pick out what they wanted to paint and the colors to use.

The kids by a "real" cactus outside Bayou Bisque. They were in awe of this thing.

Hayden by the cactus

Let the fun begin

Love that look!

World of Coca-Cola

Back in mid Feb, we took a trip to North Georgia with a stop in the ATL on the way. We stopped in at the World of Coca-Cola. The place is full of memorabilia, a small theatre room broadcasting all the different commercials ever made, a pop art area, and actual bottle works packaging area, and the taste test area. By far the taste it area was everyone's favorite.

Let the tasting begin! With over 60 different drinks from all over the world, they kids always migrated back to the drinks from North America!

Moo snatchin' her complimentary Coke on the way out!

By the time Ethan was done, he had a rainbow mustache and a bulging belly!

Sorry daddo, Mountain Dew isn't made by Coke!

There is no rhyme or reason as to the order of these photos. I tried to add them in order, but the thing went crazy!
