Turkey Day in FREEZING COLD Kansas!

We decided to head to Kansas for T-Day to visit my grandma, who is doing well by the way, and the rest of my fam on my mom's side. We had an absolute house full and guess who got stuck cooking the enitre Thanksgiving Day dinner??? Yep, you guessed it....ME! My mom and aunt Regina were in the kitchen too, doing what I am still not sure. Well, I guess Regina did make two lemon meringue pies and my mom made a white pecan cheesecake and pistacchio salad, and the men watched the ham cook. I however, cooked the sweet potato casserole, greenbean casserole, hashbrown casserole, scalloped potatoes, fruit plate, corn, deviled eggs, the rolls, and two chocolate pies. This might not sound like your traditional turkey day dinner, but they did the big dinner on Friday with the noodles, stuffing, potatoes, turkey, etc., because one of my moms brothers couldn't make it in until then. We had to leave on Friday, more flights were open then. The weather was soooo cold when we were there. Thanksgiving morning it was 28 degrees at 7:30am My crazy Uncle Nick and I went for a 2 mile run, my legs were frozen by the time we returned, but we had a blast. Friday morning when we left to head back to the airport it was 18 degrees. Hayden was so amazed that he could his breath!

Christmas in November

During our visit to Kansas for Thanksgiving, we had Christmas with my dad and step-mom. The kids were very excited and loved their gifts. We had a great time.
To eager boys ready to go!
She would rather sit on the presents then opening them

Ethan got a remote control dinosaur
Hayden got a star wars transformer.
It transform in to both Han Solo and Chewbacca

Poo moo got a baby doll and baby pack n' play, little does she know Santa is bringing her the matching pink and black stroller...SHHHHH! don't tell her!
All we do with this baby is kiss her and take her shoes off and put them back on over and over and over again...
We missed the whole concept of it being a "baby bed for dolls" not poodles!
She would not stay out of it.

I just want some candy!

I was working on the computer yesterday, when I heard a big crash in the kitchen. I ran in there to find this. Abigail in Ethan's soccer cleats hovering over the mess on the floor. She decided she wanted some Halloween candy, so she found a stool and went to work. While attempting to pull the bowl off the counter, she pulled off a hard plastic plate which broke upon hitting the ground.

The shoes just crack me up!!
She did come out of the whole thing with a piece of gum!

Spaghetti Uh-Oh's

Sister loves her Spaghettio's, so I decided to let her feed herself this time (normally she is in a good outfit buy lunch time and I don't want it ruined). She did a fabulous job, really didn't even make a big mess. Her bowl was completely empty when she finished.

She did get a bath afterward and her shirt is still soaking, maybe white wasn't the smartest move.

Hey Batter Batter!

These are sideways, but you can still see it pretty well. Hayden is doing awesome in coach pitch. He has hit the ball everytime at the plate. He has only been thrown out once.

He had to go to the bathroom so bad, he could hardly concentrate on the ball.
