Cherry Lake

We spent last weekend at Cherry Lake. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and water was perfect. This is the first time we have taken the boat this year, but no one missed a beat. The boys were in the tubes before we could get them in the water. Abigail wanted to drive practically all the time and loved dangling her feet in the water from the back of the boat. Ethan enjoyed watching his hair blow around and look crazy. John skied some and was quickly reminded he ain't no spring chicken anymore. :} No, really he did great and even wake boarded some. Hayden says he wants to wake board, so we might be buying another board soon, we'll see.

The only way you ever see me anymore, is if I take a picture of myself!
He is too cool!
No Daddy!!! No kisses!!!
Our new boat driver

The boys had a ball tubing. They have come so far over the last 2 years. They laugh and bounce all over the place.

Not sure if she is crying or laughing, she went back and forth.

Ok, things aren't so bad.....

Happy Anniversary

Tonight my wonderful husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We had a very scrumptious dinner downtown at The Bistro. The waitress was even kind enough to give us our desert on the house. It has been a very fun, comical, and sometimes stressful 7 years, but each day our family grows stronger and we couldn't imagine life any other way.
John did wake up this morning and complain about an itch that just all of the sudden has appeared. I am sure I can get rid of it very fast though!!! I am very blessed to have such a wonderful man as my husband. Thanks for always taking care of me my love!

Field Day

WE had Field Day at school last Thursday and Friday. Pre-K thru 2nd went on Thursday and 3rd thru 5th went on Friday. They had an absolute ball and did many things like the obstacle course, potato sak races, scooter races, 50 yd dash, jumping hay bales, tug of war, and many more. I however, spent all my time at the concession stand on BOTH days. Since I am the new PTO President, not by choice, I was in charge of organizing, buying, and running all the stuff for the concession stand. Talk about crazy, how are you supposed to buy drinks and snacks for 755 kids who are sweating their behinds off and running around like crazy on a hot Georgia day in May?
Well, I figured it out and it goes like this 580 Gatorades, 360 cans of coke and sprite, 280 bottles of water, 400 bags of chips, 200 tootsie pops, 600 laffy taffys, 630 Airheads, 244 Twinkies, 500 Lunchtime Gummy candies, and 54 bottles of snocone syrup with 30 16lb bags of ice for the snocone machine. Any questions?
This was the only picture I got of Ethan, I happened to see him at a station by the concession stand and was able to sneak away for a minute. Another mom in Hayden's class took my camera and took pictures of Hayden. Ethan looked like he was having a blast though.
