100 days of School

Today was the 100th day of school and only 80 more left, yee-haw!! Kindergarten hosted the 100th day museum for the school. All of the Kindergarten students were encouraged to create a project using 100 whatever to celebrate. We decided on two dfferent things. First we made a Rice Krispie treat in the shape of the number 100. Okay, we only used 40 big marshmallows and a lot more than 100 rice krispies, but it tasted great and represented the number in grand style. Hayden's class enjoyed chowing down on it later that day.

We also decided to make a big spider with 100 legs. This was so fun and easy to make. We had a blast, even though a burned my hand a few times with the hot glue gun.
Ethan was excited to help and had to have his picture taken too!
There were a ton of oooh's and aaaah's when we carried it through the hallways of school. He had huge smile on his face and let everyone know it has 100 legs for 100 days of school.

They sure are wiggly and hard to hold on to.

He's being attacked by a paper spider
He was so proud of his spider
