Well tonight while munching a corn on the cob, Mr. Hayden David lost his second tooth! It had been loose as all get out for the last 3 days. He was nibbling very gently when I saw a hole in his gum. I told him his tooth was out and the hunt began. We tore the corn apart trying to find it. Looked all over the floor and in his milk and still couldn't find it. We have come to the conclusion that he must of swallowed it. He started crying because he wanted more money from the tooth fairy and didn't think he would get any without a tooth. So, John and I being the super parents we are talked in our code language at the table and translated to each other to go and get his first tooth he lost that I kept. Secretively I retrieved the tooth, passed it off to John and he hid it in the middle of the corn cob. We made a big production about shucking the corn to look for it, and wouldn't you know it popped right out on to his plate. He was so excited and thought his dad was the BEST! So now we are waiting patiently for the tooth fairy arrive.
